Field Service Technician

Laidig Systems, Inc. is actively seeking candidates for a Field Service/Construction position. We are looking for a high energy, positive, self-directed and self-motivated individual to join our growing team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required with additional education or technical training a plus. Laidig Systems offers a very competitive compensation package.

The Field Service/Construction position requires domestic and international travel.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical conveying equipment.

Strong Construction/Mechanical candidates should be willing to learn, or be familiar with and be prepared to utilize the following:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently & solve problems
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule/ some weekends away
  • Familiar with heavy equipment installations
  • Industrial controls knowledge desired
  • Industrial hydraulic knowledge desired
  • Erecting steel helpful
  • Concrete practices helpful
  • Organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills - customers & coworkers
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
