Laidig Systems, Inc. is actively interviewing candidates for a Finish Welder. Laidig is looking for a positive, high energy, self-directed individual to join our growing team.

This is a first shift position.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Finish weld mild, tool and stainless steels using flux cored, mig, stick; operate heating and cutting torches; read and fabricate/weld to provided blue prints, bills of material and welding symbols, carry out work routings, work orders; verbal instructions; claim via computer all daily standard work; operate hand grinders, drills, large capacity overhead cranes, and miscellaneous hand tools; lift within OSHA guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must pass Laidig Systems Inc. weld and blueprint reading tests. Prior AWS certifications, heavy welding and bench fabrication experience desirable.


  • Fabricate and finish weld per job routing and drawings
    Claim standard time worked daily via computer
    Work in a safe and efficient manner; obey all rules and regulations outlined in employee policy manual
    Maintain a clean and well organized work area
    Work overtime as required
    Provide own hand tools, safety shoes, and prescription safety glasses
    Perform other activities as directed by Team Leader
