Laidig recently installed three 30' x 62' steel-bolted silos, complete with our Model 8330 Cone-Bottom reclaimers, for a customer in the mining industry, located in California.
The silos will be storing and reclaiming a high-density material, potassium sulfate, at 97 to 105 pounds-per-cubic-foot (PCF).
Each silo provides approximately 1,600 tons of storage capacity. The material is reclaimed from the bottom of the silo at a rate in excess of 100 tons-per-hour for truck and rail loadout.
