Mike began his career at Laidig Systems in 1979. Initially hired as summer help after high school, he continued to work at Laidig as he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Business Administration and Management. After working for eight years in manufacturing, engineering, and accounting, he became the Midwest Sales Manager in 1988 and then Vice President of Sales in 2008. He is proud to be a part of the family atmosphere at Laidig where the concepts of quality, integrity, and work ethic are valued.
Mike is a past Chairman of the Board for the American Feed Industry Association and has also served on the AFIA Equipment Manufacturers Committee since 1995.
He and his wife Kathy have three boys: Dan, Randy, and Joe. Randy and Joe are both proud members of the Laidig sales team. Mike and Kathy also have four grandchildren: Hannah, Henry, Gramm, and Trey.
